NEW YORK
It was a perfect day for a swim, and hey, why not add a bike ride and a run in the park?
Athletes came out on Sunday for the annual New York City Triathlon.
Participants started with a swim of almost a mile (1.5 kilometers) in the Hudson River, followed by almost 25 miles (40 kilometers) on bicycles over a roadway on Manhattan’s west side, and finishing with a 6.2-mile (10 kilometers) run through Central Park.
